Image Quality Guide

To ensure the best print quality please read the following guide.

Cropping

Please note that the shape and print area of the product will dictate the shape and size of the final print. Therefore it may be necessary to crop the submitted image. Digital-Palette will seek to do this in a sympathetic manner and only when absolutely necessary. If we are in doubt as to how best to proceed, we will contact you to discuss your requirements.

 

To obtain the best results try to ensure that there is some space around the main subject within the overall scene.

 

Digital Images

If you are submitting digital images via the Image Upload page after checkout, please use the table below as a guide. All image manipulation software incorporate a facility to resize your images. For best results digital images should have resolution of 300 dpi saved in JPEG or TIFF format

The following table shows the minimum acceptable image size in pixels for each print size (based on the longest edge of the image to be printed).
